RIB MOUNTAIN -- Granite Peak Ski Area will be the backdrop for a new three-band music festival next month.
A stage will be set up on the recently built outdoor patio outside of Granite Peak's ski chalet with bands facing the mountain, which will absorb some of the sound while concert-goers spread out on blankets on the hill.
Flapjack Creative, a new Wausau marketing firm, is teaming up with Granite Peak to start a new musical tradition in central Wisconsin, starting with a one-night Sneak Peak music festival from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 21.
The bands set to perform are TSA, a Kronenwetter-based up-and-coming pop band; Natty Nation, a reggae group from Madison; and Blueheels, a rock and alt-country band from Madison. |
